Mini Prism

With the RSMP10 and RSMP12 mini prisms, surveyors can now easily take measurements in cracks, holes and corners. Fixed dimensions give the surveyor the exact path from the measurement point to the base of the house or the tip of the peak.

In forensics, prisms are used for precise measurement of bullet holes.

NOTE: For accurate measurements, the prism must be directly in line with the measuring instrument!

When using the mini prisms to map settlements, the nails can be removed and thus inserted or glued into the smallest cracks or holes.

These prisms are perfect for monitoring with measurement points on facades and historic buildings that are barely identifiable to the public.

On concrete or masonry, small holes can be drilled to countersink the prisms flush with the surface.

To ensure accurate measurements, the viewing angle should not be more than 25°.

The areas are unit dependent and can be negatively affected by weather and environmental conditions.
